"type":"link","link":"http://shattered--wonderland.tumblr.com/post/18051195104/i-rang-up-a-cute-guy-at-work-today","title":"How%20is%20one%20to%20find%20her%20way%3F%3A%20I%20rang%20up%20a%20cute%20guy%20at%20work%20today...","body":"%3Cp%3E%3Ca%20class%3D%22tumblr_blog%22%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fshattered--wonderland.tumblr.com%2Fpost%2F18051195104%2Fi-rang-up-a-cute-guy-at-work-today%22%3Eshattered%26%238212%3Bwonderland%3C%2Fa%3E%3A%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3EUnfortunately%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20catch%20his%20name%20or%20get%20his%20number.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EBut%20I%20shall%20nickname%20him%20%3Cem%3E%E2%80%98earbuds%E2%80%99%3C%2Fem%3E%20since%20when%20he%20was%20coming%20up%20to%20my%20register%2C%20he%20was%20listening%20to%20his%20ipod.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EWe%20had%20a%20little%20conversation%20as%20I%20rang%20up%20his%203%20energy%20drinks.%20As%20I%20%20think%20about%20it%20now%2C%20I%20could%20of%20made%20a%20wise%20crack%2C%20about%20asking%20him%20%E2%80%9CI%E2%80%99m%20%20guessing%20you%20need%20some%20energy%3F%E2%80%9D%20But%20I%20digress%E2%80%A6%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20start%20off%2C%20with%20%E2%80%9CHello%2C%20How%20are%20you%20doing%20today%3F%E2%80%9D%20being%20that%20I%E2%80%99m%20the%20cashier%2C%20and%20greeting%20customers%20is%20a%20job%20requirement.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EAnd%20here%20is%20where%20I%20have%20trouble%20remembering%20word%20for%20word.%20But%20he%20%20said%20something%20along%20the%20lines%20of%20-%20%E2%80%9CWhat%E2%80%99s%20up%3F%20I%E2%80%99m%20good.%20you%3F%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EAnd%20I%20always%20answer%20%E2%80%9CI%E2%80%99m%20doing%20well.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EHe%20then%20misheard%20what%20I%20said%20and%20asked%20me%20%E2%80%9CDid%20you%20just%20say%20%E2%80%A6%E2%80%A6%3F%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99m%20like%20%E2%80%9CNo%2C%20I%20said%20I%E2%80%99m%20well%2C%20you%20probably%20misheard%20me%2C%20because%20your%20ears%20are%20plugged%20in%2C%E2%80%9D%20-%20I%20laughed.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EHe%20then%20looked%20me%20in%20the%20eyes%20and%20asked%20me%20%E2%80%9CDo%20you%20go%20to%20ODU%3F%20Because%20you%20look%20familiar.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20replied%2C%20%E2%80%9CNo%2C%20I%20go%20to%20TCC%20-%20but%20I%E2%80%99m%20planning%20on%20going%20to%20ODU.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EHe%20then%20said%20%E2%80%9COh%2C%20well%20it%E2%80%99s%20a%20nice%20school%2C%20when%20I%20went.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20asked%20%E2%80%9CDid%20you%20graduate%3F%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EHe%20said%20%E2%80%9CNah%2C%20I%20only%20took%20a%20couple%20of%20English%20classes%20to%20improve%20my%20reading.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20replied%20%E2%80%9CAh%2C%20I%20need%20some%20improvement%20in%20my%20writing%20-%20but%20I%E2%80%99m%20god%20awful%20at%20it.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EHe%20gave%20me%20a%20puzzled%20look%2C%20%E2%80%9CYou%20mean%20you%20can%E2%80%99t%20write%20or%20story-telling%3F%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20said%20%E2%80%9CStory%20telling%E2%80%A6I%E2%80%99d%20like%20to%20write%20a%20book%20-%20sometime%20in%20my%20life%20time.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20then%20continued%20saying%20he%20owed%20me%20%243.15%2C%20he%20swiped%20his%20card%20and%20%20mentioned%E2%80%A6%E2%80%9DWell%20you%20should%20write%20for%20video%20games%20they%20make%20a%20lot%20of%20%20money%2C%E2%80%9D%20-%20as%20he%20was%20walking%20away%E2%80%A6%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20than%20proceded%20to%20say%20%E2%80%9CHave%20a%20nice%20night.%E2%80%9D%20He%20replied%20%E2%80%9CYou%20too.%E2%80%9D%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%3Cem%3EI%20wish%20I%20could%20of%20asked%20for%20his%20number%20or%20at%20least%20been%20suave%20and%20took%20his%20reciept%20and%20written%20my%20number%20on%20the%20back.%3C%2Fem%3E%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%3Cem%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20creepy%20to%20think%20he%20knows%20some%20key%20points%20that%20he%20could%20probably%20type%20into%20facebook%20to%20find%20me.%20%3C%2Fem%3E%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%3Cem%3EThose%20being%20my%20name%2C%20school%2C%20and%20work-place.%20%3C%2Fem%3E%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%3Cem%3EYeah%2C%20I%E2%80%99m%20over-thinker.%20%3C%2Fem%3E%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cem%3EWe%E2%80%99ll%20see%20if%20I%E2%80%99ll%20bump%20into%20%E2%80%98earbuds%E2%80%99%20again%20later%20in%20life%E2%80%A6%3C%2Fem%3E%3C%2Fblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3EReading%20this%20makes%20me%20think%20that%20you%20WANT%20him%20to%20cyber-stalk%20you.%20%3A%29%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%3Cimg%20src%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.tumblr.com%2Ftumblr_lzrzcf6VWw1qafjim.gif%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fp%3E"
